Lock Fitting System Roof Application

What is Lock Fitting System Roof?
The interlocking system is generally used in roofs such as industrial facilities, sports halls, airports, stadiums, etc., where large spans must be crossed and will be exposed to high temperature expansions. Unlike the clamp system, unlike the clamp system, the top layer locking panels, which are mounted using aluminium or polyamide barbells instead of fixed / movable clips, can easily and without damage to the expansion movement over very long distances on these barbells, and can be produced on-site in the field up to the length of the building, providing a problem-free and optimum solution. The interlocking system roof provides high strength and durability to the structure, the structure becomes safe and robust.

Lock Fitting System Roofing

In this system, locking panels can be manufactured using galvanised painted sheet metal, aluminium and titanium zinc.

This system, which is more preferred in large span structures, allows the material to move in length direction in case of expansion due to temperature change, although it is a single piece. This system, the applicability of which is limited only by the architect’s imagination, is used in special structures such as airports, sports halls, stadiums, industrial facilities, etc. due to the fact that it is high-rolled and therefore does not carry the risk of water isolation, and stands out with its aesthetic and functional features.

Advantages of Locking System

  • Up to 1000 mm radius circular panels can be produced.

  • Wide span roofs can be covered. – It offers more creative solutions thanks to the processability of aluminium.

  • Thanks to the rock wool used between the two layers, it increases the fire safety of the building by adding A class fireproof value.

  • Since the locking work is done by robot, there is no labour error and 100% waterproofing is provided.

  • Thanks to the high pitch (65 mm), the desired strength is easily provided between long purlins – Due to the solution in the barbell joint detail, the panels can move longitudinally in thermal stresses.
