Roof Cladding
If we say that the most important part of the buildings is the roof and facade, which form the outer shell, perhaps we will make a correct determination for many. Roof and facade are the most important elements that protect the building and its inhabitants from the undesirable effects of the external environment such as cold, heat, wind, sound, etc.
The correct selection of these elements during the design increases the aesthetic value of the buildings, but also affects many things from creating the desired comfort situation inside the building to the life of the building and the layers that make up the building. For this reason, the selection of materials for roof and facade claddings, which form the outer shell of buildings, is perhaps the most demanding part of buildings.
Roof coverings are required both in new buildings and in restoration projects of existing buildings. Of course, the roof is a highly visible vital part of the building with multiple purposes. For this reason, our TITANIUM TINC roofing systems stand out with their many features. Planners and architects can always rely on the excellent quality of zinc roof products and systems, which guarantees durability and reliability. KENET SYSTEM
It is recognised as the first choice for all roofs with slopes from 3°. Roofs using this system become rain-proof without any additional precautions with a clamp roll height of only 25 mm. The double standing seam system, consisting of sheets profiled on its own special machine, is an internationally recognised and proven system. The bending and closing of the clamp plates can be done manually or mechanically by means of a clamp robot. Special designs using concave-convex or conical applications can also be realised without any problems.
Thanks to the different detail types it offers, it is suitable for both traditional and modern architectural structures.
ADVANTAGES
- The roll height is 25 mm.
- The particularly precise flat seams have an attractive, slim appearance and allow harmonious integration of roof surfaces on traditional or more modern buildings
- The double clamp is ideal for shallow roof slopes and can be used from 3° pitch.
- For existing buildings with more complex architecture, they can be perfectly adapted to various structural elements. Conical, concave or convex rounded surfaces can be accurately formed.
- Panel lengths of up to 16 m can be used flexibly, including roofs with large surface areas.
- The clamps are rainproof and thus protect the building structure against wind and weather conditions.
- Long service life
- Maintenance free
- Successfully applied in all kinds of architectural designs thanks to its customisable structure
CAP SYSTEM (Ottoman Kenedi)
It is used on roofs with a slope of more than 3°. Capped interlocking systems are the most traditional of the sheet metal techniques used today. The “capped lap joint” system is a type of linear (longitudinal) joint in which zinc-based cap profiles or wooden battens are mounted between the sheets. It is also called Ottoman clamp. The system, which has interesting effects in different light environments, provides three-dimensional effects and shadow effects when used with other clamp systems. Therefore, this system allows different design alternatives in both roof coverings and facades with large surfaces.
If it is used together with the Clamp System, much more diversity is provided in designs.
ADVANTAGES
- Highly aesthetic architectural design
- Defining surfaces with the effect of light and shadow thanks to the structure with thick lines
- Compatible rates
- Suitable for 3° roof slopes
- Rainproof longitudinal clamp
- Easier interchangeability or reworking of panels in subsequent modifications (strengthening of joints, etc.).
- Good tolerance for lateral deviations (approx. 5 mm/roll cover)
- Excellent linear expansion behaviour thanks to expansion-permitting assembly
- Simple panel prefabrication with mobile roll former
- Time-saving termination assembly
- Prefabricated eaves and ridge termination parts
- Few tools are required: Installation in large areas with cordless screwdriver
- Designed to be particularly efficient regardless of the roof structure.
- Joints created with waterproof soldered joints on low-slope roofs.
SLATE SYSTEM
It is used on roofs with a slope of more than 10°. With the Narrow Series Coatings (square and tiled), reliable and visually impressive solutions can be realised even with complex geometric structures. The classic application areas of this system are chimneys, dovecotes and roof gable walls. Wide Series Coatings are effective in roof and facade coatings with large surfaces. These coatings, which are considered as the next stage in the development of square and tile plates, are remarkable not only for the visual aesthetics they offer, but also for the structural advantages they provide.
The use of slate slabs of different sizes allows for different design alternatives on the surfaces.
ADVANTAGES
- Flat slate tiles are available in different forms and sizes, so that suitable products are available as a basis for planning any project.
- Rectangular or diamond shaped slate plates can be used according to the design. According to the design, the plate dimensions can be changed according to the desired size (width maximum 60 cm – length maximum 200 cm)
- Individual tiles can be effortlessly adapted to individual building sections such as gable walls, fascias or chimneys, which reduces planning effort
- Installation is also quick and simple thanks to refined system technology
- Flat slates can be used for planning and designing roofs and facades from a slope of 10°. Accordingly, they are suitable for almost all buildings. This gives you great design freedom.
- It offers numerous and varied application alternatives, from modern buildings to restoration projects, from classic arrangements to individual combinations.
- It is easily used in the assembly of concave and convex surfaces.
